Sarah continues to work as a music tutor in 2 of our schools, teaching singing and piano as well as working as administrator and coordinator for the music provision. Sarah is keen to get the children to work together across the schools in workshops and performances and organises various opportunities to do this.
Having had a varied career in the Performing Arts, working professionally since the age of 8, Sarah has sung and danced in the UK and abroad. Her work has included radio, television, theatre in education and theatre and she has worked as a professional actress, singer and dancer almost all of her life. She chose to go to university after several years on the road and studied Music at the University of Scarborough along with Theatre Studies. On moving to the south east of England with her family, Sarah took up teaching and has been teaching music, dance and drama to children and adults in the Ramsey area since 2007.

Claire has been teaching for 20 years in Sussex and Cambridgeshire. She started learning the piano when she was 6, and being a piano teacher was all she ever wanted to do! Claire likes to inspire her students to use their talent and several former pupils are now working in the music industry and even as music teachers too: "It’s brilliant when your passion turns into a career." Piano, Keyboard and Singing Tutor
Claire works in a number of schools and has been teaching for ASCA since 2015. She began learning to play the piano from a very young age and combined her love of music with studying science at school and university. Claire came to Cambridge University in 1999 to do a PhD in Biology and one of the first things she did was to get a piano, she always had to have a ground floor room from then on! She has played and sang in many groups and choirs and really enjoys jazz, boogie woogie and blues. Her musical heroes include Jools Holland and Fats Waller. Claire really enjoys enabling and encouraging children and young people to grow in their knowledge and skill and to explore the wonderful gift of music!

Shiona began learning the piano when she was 5 and after sitting grade 8 and majoring in piano for her A Level Music , she turned her attention to singing. Shiona is a professional Opera Singer and studied at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, she gained her PGdip Vocal and Opera Studies from The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. She was a young artist on English National Opera's 'Opera Works' programme 2011-12.
Becky is one of our Singing and Piano tutors, and started working for ASCA Music in 2017. She currently teaches at Somersham, Earith, Ashbeach, Ramsey Spinning Infants and Abbey college.
Becky has had an interest in music since as far back as she can remember! She passed her grade 8 singing exam with distinction in 2011 and is currently working towards her ARSM performance diploma in singing. Becky also plays piano to a high standard.
Prior to teaching singing and piano, Becky trained and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse, and worked in the industry for 5 years. During this time she gained qualifications in training student nurses, which she uses every day and adapts to teaching singing and piano. She decided that Music was her true calling in life and feels very lucky that she gets teach these brilliant skills every day! Becky has a 100% pass rate for all her students who have taken exams.
