Important Payment & Lesson Information
To ensure lessons run smoothly and without interruption, payment must be made before the start of each music term. If payment isn’t received and no communication is made with our Coordinator, unfortunately, lessons will not be able to take place.

How to Make Payments
Please use the payment buttons below and include your child’s name, school, and instrument in the payment details so we can credit the right account.
Important:
New students should NOT make any payment until they have received confirmation from the office that a lesson space is available. There may be waiting lists at some schools.
Abbey College students:
Please note that any amount showing on the Abbey College Parent Pay account is automatically generated and does not reflect the actual music tuition owed.
Always pay the correct amount based on your lessons, ignoring any default sums on the page.
If you can’t use Parent Pay, please select the All Other Payments option below.
Payment Terms
- We encourage payments in 5 or 10-week blocks at the start of each half term or full term.
- Extra lessons beyond the usual term can be arranged—just talk to your tutor.
- If starting mid-term or making additional payments, please contact Lucy Sheldrake (Abbey College) or Vicky Scrase (Primary Schools).
Funding Information
If your child’s lessons are funded through their school, this generally covers 10 weeks per term and is subject to Headteacher approval. Additional “top-up” lessons may be possible—please discuss these directly with the ASCA Music Coordinator.
Attendance & Absences
To keep everything running smoothly, it’s your responsibility to inform your tutor directly if your child cannot attend a lesson—not the school office.
- Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule a lesson.
- We do not receive absence information from schools, so direct communication with your tutor is essential.
- This includes absences due to illness, school events, or any other reason.
